Significant snowfall tonight into Wednesday night. strong low pressure developing along the carolina coast late today will rapidly intensify on Wednesday, bringing significant snowfall later tonight into Wednesday night.

Snow is expected to develop later tonight. The snow may become heavy at times on Wednesday, before slowly tapering off Wednesday night.

Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected. As the storm intensifies, east to northeast winds will become strong and gusty during the day on Wednesday, and these winds continue Wednesday night.

Gusts of 25 to 35 mph are possible. This will cause blowing and drifting of snow, along with possible power outages.
